Trade fairs in China Updated July 2026 Reference guide

China Trade Fair Calendar 2026:
the complete map, month by month

More than 40 trade fairs, from January to December, on a single timeline: dates, city, sector and a summary of each one, with the full guide to the main ones. Use the calendar to find the fair for your business, understand the two peak months and plan the trip in good time.

China holds more than 40 major trade fairs a year, and for the Brazilian importer they are the most direct way in to suppliers, new products and prices at source. The problem is almost never a lack of opportunity: it is knowing which fair speaks to your product and when it takes place. This calendar gathers the main Chinese fairs of 2026 on a timeline, from January to December, with the date, city, sector and a summary of each one. Use the sector filter to see only the fairs in your segment across the year, or move month by month using the month bar.

Two windows concentrate almost everything: April and October. These are the months when the Canton Fair, the Hong Kong electronics fairs and several sector events fall in almost the same week. That is usually seen as a scheduling problem, but for anyone who plans ahead it is the opposite: a single well built trip covers more than one sourcing universe. Since the lead time for importing from China runs from 60 to 120 days, the decision to attend an October fair has to start by the middle of the year.

🔴 Peak no. 1

April

The spring Canton Fair, CMEF, HK Electronics, Chinaplas, CCMT and Auto China in the same fortnight. Five heavyweight sectors competing for your diary.

🔴 Peak no. 2

October

The absolute peak of the year: the three phases of the Canton Fair, Yiwu, HK Electronics, CIIF, CIAME, DenTech and more. This is when combining fairs into a single trip pays off most.

Frequently asked questions about trade fairs in China in 2026

Which two months have the most trade fairs in China?

April and October. April concentrates the spring Canton Fair, CMEF, the HK Electronics Fair, Chinaplas, CCMT and Auto China; October brings together the three phases of the Canton Fair, the Yiwu Trade Fair, HK Electronics, CIIF, CIAME, DenTech and others. They are the peaks of the calendar, and therefore the best months for combining several fairs into a single trip.

When does the Canton Fair 2026 take place?

The autumn 2026 edition (the 140th) takes place in Guangzhou in three phases: Phase 1 from 15 to 19 October, Phase 2 from 23 to 27 October and Phase 3 from 31 October to 4 November. The spring edition runs between mid April and early May. Always reconfirm the official date before travelling.

Do the dates of Chinese trade fairs change every year?

Yes. Most recur in the same window of the year, but the exact date changes with each edition, and some fairs are biennial, held only in even or odd years. In this calendar, the dates confirmed for 2026 are marked as such; the rest indicate the typical month and should be reconfirmed on the official site before booking a trip.

How do I choose which Chinese trade fair to visit?

It depends on your sector. General retailers and e-commerce sellers find almost everything at the Canton Fair and in Yiwu; the professional buyer, such as a clinic, a workshop, a farmer or an optician, gets more out of a sector fair, such as CMEF, CIAME, Bauma or CIIF. BCVN builds the itinerary that combines the general fair with the right sector one for your business.

Plan your trip

There is a right fair for your business. We build your schedule.

With so many fairs in the same window, the challenge is not finding opportunity, it is organising the itinerary. BCVN decides which fairs to visit, combines the general with the sector one, handles the logistics between cities and sits in on the meetings at source. That is 18 years connecting Brazilian importers to the right fairs.
