At eleven thirty in the morning, the delivery rider has already done two runs and has the third on the screen. The top case is on the rear rack, the thermal bag goes on top when the order is food, the phone is clamped to the handlebar with navigation on and, in the helmet, a voice announces the next turn. None of this is luxury: it is the equipment of someone paid per run who cannot stop. For the importer, it is a shopping list that repeats, because each item suffers sun, rain, vibration and drops at the same pace the rider works.
The helmet, the most regulated item for a rider, has its own find: in the motorcycle helmet with the Inmetro seal, the product sells protection and the rule decides who can import. Here the product is a work tool, and the question is different: what the delivery rider buys again, and how your shop becomes the first one they look for.
What motorcycle accessories for delivery riders are
It is the work kit of the motorcycle courier and the app delivery rider: what carries the goods (top case and thermal bag), what keeps the route and the order in view (phone mount, with charging or without), what lets them hear navigation and talk without taking a hand off the handlebar (helmet intercom) and what protects the bike parked on the pavement (disc lock and other anti-theft devices). Each family has its own factory in China and its own wear pattern, and it is the sum of them that turns a passing customer into a routine customer.
Models and variations
It is not a single product. At motorcycle and accessories fairs, it is an entire aisle of formats, materials and prices, and the right choice depends on who buys: the independent rider, the company courier or a shop's fleet.

Choosing the right model among hundreds of factories, and getting right the thickness of the material, the seal of the top case and the intercom battery, is where BCVN comes in.
Why this is an opportunity for Brazil
The motorcycle fleet grows every month, and a slice of it works. According to IBGE's PNAD Contínua, platform work module of 2024, there were 1.7 million app workers in the country (25.4% more than in 2022), of whom 485 thousand in food and goods delivery. A news report citing the same IBGE data counts about 1.1 million riders with the motorcycle as their main job, 351 thousand of them through apps. Fenabrave, according to the sector press, recorded 1,174,459 motorcycles registered in the first half of 2026 (14.10% more) and forecasts more than 2.4 million for the year.
- Timing: delivery riders renew their gear all year round, not only on campaign dates. With a lead time of 60 to 120 days, whoever orders now stocks the shop before summer, when heat and heavy rain speed up the wear on bags and top cases.
- Profit logic: low cost at origin and good resale, but the gain comes from repurchase, not the first ticket. The phone mount and the bag are impulse-price items the customer repeats, and the top case and the intercom are bigger-ticket purchases the shop cross-sells with the rest of the kit. Whoever assembles a kit under their own brand sells the set and keeps the repurchase.
- Broad audience: independent riders, company couriers, restaurant and pharmacy fleets, accessory shops, motorcycle workshops and whoever buys for a team.
- Ready-made content: comparing the top case that survives use with the one that cracks, or putting together the kit for someone starting to work, is a short video the shop records on the counter and that riders share themselves.
Before importing, what the rules ask of each family: here the wall is not a single seal but two points, the size of the cargo equipment and the intercom's radio. What was checked on 3 October 2026, in transcriptions of the rule and in the press, and which must be confirmed in the official text before ordering:
- Top case, rack and bag follow Contran Resolution 943/2022, of 29 March 2022, which revoked 356/2010. According to the text transcribed in legislation databases, it allows top case, rack, saddlebag, bag and side box. A closed top case may be at most 60 cm wide and 70 cm high, the rack 60 cm wide and 40 cm of load height, and a saddlebag, bag or side box may not exceed the height of the seat. Closed equipment carries retroreflective strips, and the resolution also covers the leg and engine guard, the line guard on the handlebar and the passenger grab handles. A top case larger than the limit is merchandise the customer risks not being able to use.
- The thermal backpack worn on the back was not confirmed: the resolution covers top case, bag and saddlebag, fixed or removable, and the classification of the backpack must be checked. The kite-line cutter antenna (antena corta-pipa), according to traffic portals, is required for paid activity by art. 139-A of the Traffic Code, a text that must also be checked. And there is a public consultation to amend 943, so check the current wording before placing the order.
- The intercom requires Anatel approval. A product with a Bluetooth radio emits radio frequency, and Law 9,472/1997 forbids using equipment in that condition without certification. Use on the road, on the other hand, is a grey area: the Traffic Code (art. 252, VI) prohibits headphones connected to a sound device or mobile phone, and, according to a sector report, the Detran-DF would accept an approved intercom that is well fixed and does not alter the helmet's structure, while the Cetran-SP is restrictive. Do not treat the product as cleared, and it is not known whether an intercom fixed to the certified helmet affects its seal.
- Inmetro: we did not find compulsory Inmetro certification for top cases, phone mounts, locks or the intercom battery. The absence of a result does not prove it does not exist, so confirm the classification of each NCM with the customs broker.
- Tax: the intercom falls under NCM 8517.62, with a common external tariff of 16% and possible ex-tarifário exceptions, according to classification databases. The rates for motorcycle parts (8714.10) and bags (4202) are left to the customs broker.
The rule changes by resolution and by public consultation, and what counts is the official text. Ask the supplier for the exact measurements of the top case, and inspect the lot before shipment: a loose hinge and thin sealing do not show in the photo, and they are what the rider feels in the first rain.
Personalise the accessories with your brand
Importing from China is not just reselling a generic product. The factory can put your brand on the top case, the bag and the intercom box, and customise the product your way. This is how you build your own brand, with more margin and less price competition, something powerful in a category where the customer compares listing by listing.
- Your brand on the product and the packaging (private label / OEM): logo engraved on the top case, printed on the bag and on the intercom box.
- Colour, size and finish of your choice, within the size limit the rule imposes on the top case.
- Packaging and manual in Portuguese, with fitting and use instructions.
Customisation usually calls for a slightly larger minimum order, and BCVN finds the right factory, negotiates the customisation, validates the sample and makes sure the product arrives exactly as you asked for it.
It is worth understanding how this works in practice before requesting the first sample: the guide on own brand in China: private label, OEM and ODM explains the difference between the three models and what each one changes in the minimum order and the lead time.
Where to buy motorcycle accessories for delivery riders in China
Top case, bag and mount come from motorcycle parts and accessories factories, and the intercom comes from the electronics hub. To understand where each product is born, the map of China's industrial clusters is the starting point. The sector fairs are more specific than the general ones:
- Canton Fair, Phase 1 (Vehicles and Auto Parts): the vehicles, motorcycles and accessories aisle, in the same complex as the electronics, where intercoms also appear.
- China Motorcycle Parts Fair, in Guangzhou: a motorcycle parts and accessories fair (92nd edition), at the Poly World Trade Center, expected for 10 to 12 November 2026, date to be confirmed with the organiser.
- CIMAMotor, in Chongqing: the country's international motorcycle fair. The 2026 edition ran from 19 to 22 September, and the next should fall in September 2027, date to be confirmed.
Autumn 2026 Canton Fair (140th): Phase 1 takes place on 15 to 19 October 2026, at the Pazhou complex in Guangzhou. For anyone planning the April 2027 edition, the Canton Fair 2027 guide gives the expected dates, and the guide plan your China import for 2027 fits fair, production and delivery time into the same calendar.

The helmet protects and the rule decides who sells it. The top case, the bag, the mount and the intercom work, and whoever sells them well sells more than once to the same customer. Getting the top case size and the radio approval right before going to the factory is what separates a lot that turns over from a container of equipment the rider cannot use. To have a reliable supplier, it is worth reviewing how to verify a Chinese supplier before the first order.
Frequently asked questions about importing motorcycle accessories for delivery riders
Which motorcycle accessories do app delivery riders buy most often?
The ones that wear out with use: top case, thermal bag and backpack, phone mount and lock. The intercom is a bigger-ticket purchase replaced less often. For the shop, the logic is to assemble the work kit rather than sell a single piece.
Do I need Anatel approval to import a helmet intercom?
Yes. A product with a Bluetooth radio is equipment that emits radio frequency, and Law 9,472/1997 prohibits using it without Anatel certification. Ask the supplier for the radio data and have the model's classification checked with a certification body or the customs broker before ordering. As for use on the road, there is a grey area of interpretation: check the position of the Detran and the Cetran in your state.
Is there a maximum size for a delivery motorcycle top case?
According to the text of Contran Resolution 943/2022 as transcribed in legislation databases, a closed top case may be at most 60 cm wide and 70 cm high, and the cargo rack 60 cm wide and 40 cm of load height. A public consultation is open to amend the resolution, so check the current wording in the official text before placing the order.
Where can I find motorcycle accessory suppliers in China?
At the Canton Fair (Phase 1, vehicles and accessories) and at the China Motorcycle Parts Fair in Guangzhou. BCVN vets the supplier, negotiates the customisation and inspects the lot before shipment.
